Playing the Field: Paulina Gretzky gives Obama puppet the finger, Brady’s fashion taste is questioned

Who gave Paulina Gretzky a puppet?

Predictably, not everyone was thrilled with Tuesday’s election results.

Count PTF regular Paulina Gretzky (daughter of Wayne), among the disgruntled. The Great One’s greatest creation instagrammed the photo to the right – of her giving a Barack Obama puppet the middle finger.

Paulina also added the caption, “Ya, I went there.”

Of course, by now Paulina has already forgotten about the election and that Mitt guy that kind of looked like an older version of her Uncle Luc (Robitaille).

Tom Brady’s attire under fire

Tom Brady is at that point in his career where he is close to being universally respected by all opposing fan bases. The early knock on him was that he was a system quarterback, a slightly better version of Trent Dilfer. Then he started putting up Hall of Fame individual numbers.

His legacy as a top five quarterback of all-time is, more or less, cemented. But even Patriots fans have jumped on board with the few Brady-haters left and have had beef with Brady for quite some time now regarding his attire. Teammate Wes Welker even got in on the fun earlier this season when he described his quarterback as “the toughest metrosexual I know.”

Yes, the majority of this is Gisele’s doing. We get it. When you’re married to, arguably, the most successful supermodel in the world you have to make some sacrifices and most of those sacrifices come at the expense of your own manhood.

Though that’s understood, Wednesday was still a tough day for Brady. He was asked, point-blank by Comcast reporter Tom Curran why he always has to stay 10 steps ahead of the fashion curve.

Curran: “Sometimes you dress kind of weird. What’s going on there? Who does that? Is that the whole self, do you lay that out? Does someone lay that out for you?”

Brady (grinning): “I have no response to that.”
