Colin Can

Last week, the game’s No. 1 pickup was Bryce Brown. He showed why on Monday night, winning owners leagues with a breakout performance. It’s a reminder that at the running back position, opportunity is often all it takes. I’m confident there are thousands of people on this planet that could run for 100 yards behind an NFL offensive line. There are less than 20 people on earth than could throw for 300 yards in an NFL game.

Let’s get on to this week’s top adds:

1. Knowshon Moreno, RB, Broncos — I detailed Moreno in yesterday’s fallout post. He’s the clear starter and every-down back, well ahead of Ronnie Hillman and Lance Ball.

2. Jonathan Dwyer, RB, Steelers — Coach Mike Tomlin has seen enough of Rashard Mendenhall. Dwyer will start Sunday and as long as he doesn’t fumble, will be the feature back. He’s averaged 4.37 YPC on the season and posted back-to-back 100-yard games earlier in the year.

3. Colin Kaepernick, QB, 49ers — Hopefully you already own this guy as I’ve been talking him up for awhile. He combines the abilities of Randall Cunningham and Tim Tebow. Tremendous runner that gets QB draws called for him in red zone.

4. Ryan Broyles, WR, Lions — Don’t expect Titus Young to get his job back. Broyles is more reliable and Matthew Stafford is loving him. Will see 1-on-1 coverage on every play thanks to Megatron.

5. DeAngelo Williams, RB, Panthers — Jonathan Stewart has a high ankle sprain. DeAngelo has been sluggish all year, but the starting gig should give him a little pep in his step.
