The Word: John Stamos wants to settle down, ladies
John Stamos has a reputation as a smooth-talking party boy, but the actor insists this isn’t the case.
“I try not to get trapped into everybody’s image of who they think I am or who I should be,” he tells Celebuzz. “I’m a guy that wants to be in a relationship and should be in a relationship. Sometimes I’m afraid of it because I don’t want to let people down. You don’t want to disappoint people.”
This guy occupied Uncle Jesse’s leather pants for the better part of the ’90s. He can’t possibly tell us that there is not an army of 20-somethings lining up to look in his sparkly green eyes and be disappointed. Or can he?
“You think I’m in New York, playing around. I sometimes feel the responsibility to be that guy,” says Stamos, who is in the city shooting a film when not perfecting his sensitive, misunderstood act. “[But] I’ve been in New York for five weeks now, and I’ve gone to bed by myself.”
Yeah, so: We’re pretty sure this is John Stamos’ bat signal of a booty call. You’re welcome.
You can not shame Louis C.K.
Louis C.K.‘s tweets about Sarah Palin may have lost him a gig hosting the White House Correspondents’ Dinner, but the comedian has no regrets.
“It’s caused me some problems that I wrote s— about her,” C.K. admitted while promoting his series for FX, “Louis,” on the “Today” show Monday. “But … why not, man? I mean, what is she? She’s just a person. I don’t think she’s some sacred person. It still makes me laugh a little bit, the stuff that I wrote, when I think about it. I thought it was well-written.”
We’re still amazed that someone considered Louis C.K. — possibly the only person willing to mine child abuse for any overlooked laughs — for a gig at the White House. Short of maybe Cookie Monster, there’s no one who observes less societal norms.
Zach Galifianakis set to tie the knot
Zach Galifianakis is making it official with long-term girlfriend Quinn Lundberg this summer. After a quiet engagement, the couple set a date for August 11, reports Celebuzz.
Galifianakis is, apparently, aware that his 29-year-old ballerina fiance is a little out of his league.
“Zach included a drawing of himself and his bride-to-be [with the invitation]. He made sure he looked like a little troll, while Quinn is a stunning tall blonde princess,” a source tells the site.
As for their registry, it’s very Hollywood PC with charity donations — and Anthropologie sheet sets, because they are human, after all.
