Scary stat: More than 60 percent of respondents to a survey from Novosbed said they use their smartphone in bed before going to sleep. Reports show that stepping away from your phone before bedtime can help improve your quality of sleep.

Nov. 12 is the 20th anniversary of the landmark AIDS film Philadelphia, and the Columbia University Medical Center is honoring the occasion with a day-long series of events, featuring theater, musical performances and a panel discussion with the creative team behind the film.
