A 200-foot zipline will descend from a three-story platform in Dewey Square Park at the Rose Kennedy Greenway this Saturday. The temporary attraction is part of Experience Kissimmee, an Osceola County, Fl. tourism effort that’s setting up shop in front of South Station through President’s Day weekend.
While the actual zipline route remains slightly unclear, its artistic rendering features some high-flying action across the Zakim, the State House and the Christian Science Center, which would be, um, very impressive. However, Experience Kissimmee posted a video from a previous pop-up in Chicago that explains a lot. (It's kind of like a wind-swept Slip N' Slide.)
