Brockton Police are looking for a blue SUV that sped off following a shooting in a shopping plaza on the north side of Brockton near D.W. Field Golf Course,

Officers responded to a report of the shooting at about 6:15 p.m. Saturday in the strip mall on Oak and Belair streets according to the Brockton Enterprise.

The 29-year-old victim was shot in the leg and was described as being uncooperative with police after the incident. His injuries are not life-threatening, officials said.

“It happened in the parking lot. Detectives have been working around the clock since that incident and it is an extremely active investigation,” Mayor Bill Carpenter told the Enterprise yesterday.

Police are looking for a blue SUV, which sped off after the shooting.
