A man captured on video threatening another passenger and later striking a phone out of a woman's hands was arrested, police said.

Vincente Lomba, 25, of Boston, faces charges of intimidation of a witness, assault and battery and threats to commit a crime.

Police said Lomba entered a Red Line train at Andrew Square station last month when he began to “threaten and intimidate other riders and pushed his way through,” according to a statement from MBTA Police.

It was then that the victim began videotaping his behavior with her cell phone.

The footage goes on for about 90 seconds until the man is seen striking the camera. The victim later contacted MBTA Police about the assault and provided them with the video, which was later circulated online.

Information about Lomba’s court date was not immediately available.
