A Massachusetts State Trooper and his four-legged companion helped unite a lost boy with his family earlier this week.
On Feb. 29 after 10 p.m. Massachusetts State Police were notified that a 14-year-old boy — who is on the Autism Spectrum — had gone missing in North Brookfield, authorities said. RELATED:DIY pain killer disposal on display at Mass. State House Officials, including K-9 units, responded and begun the search for the teen, according to police.
At about 10:55 p.m. Trooper Scott Davis and his K-9 partner Cairo located the young boy sleeping on a park bench between two fenced basketball courts not far from where he was last seen, police said. The boy, who was not identified, was not harmed and returned home.
