Authorities have confirmed the body found inside of a missing Reading woman's Hummer is Dorothy Brownsberger.
The vehicle was found in New Hampshire on Tuesday afternoon.
Brownsberger, 48, went missing on Sunday.
According to her husband, Ben, she had gone out to the store and planned to be back home before the couple went to church at 9:30 a.m.
The two moved from Haverhill to Reading a few weeks ago so she could be closer to her 11-year-old son, who she shares custody with her ex-husband.
According to Channel 5, Dorothy had told her husband that she felt unsafe.
She is a double lung and kidney recipient, and did not take her medications with her.
“She's insulin dependent, to a degree,” Ben Brownsberger told Channel 5. “So if she hasn't taken it within 24 to 48 hours, she's going to be in a state where she loses consciousness.”
