Free agent running back Montee Ball signed with the Patriots Tuesday and will be added to their practice squad, according to multiple reports. The news came in the early afternoon on Tuesday and it was learned later in the afternoon that LeGarrette Blount would miss the remainder of the 2015 season with a hip injury.
Ball was the Broncos' featured back two years ago when Denver beat the Patriots in the AFC Championship game.
Ball showed some promise in his rookie season out of Wisconsin in 2013, notably a 117-yard rushing performance on 13 carries against the Chiefs late in the year.
Ball is just 25-years-old. Above are some highlights of his spectacular collegiate career at Wisconsin.
