PHOTOS: Older cats get a chance at adoption during MSPCA drive

The MSPCA conducted an adult cat adoption drive last weekend in Boston, Methuen and Centerville, waiving the $150 adoption feefor anyone who adopted a cat that was1 year old or older. Afree microchip, collar and ID tags were also provided. All animals werespayed or neutered, vaccinated and received a veterinary evaluation.

Theirgoal was toplace over 100 cats into “permanent, loving homes” before Election Day.

“The MSPCA hopes adopters will cast their ballot for these cats — all of whom deserve a wonderful home,” the organization said in a statement.
