Anyone looking to get a pet rabbit should hop over the MSPCA this weekend.
The adoption centers are waiving their $75 adoption fee on Saturday and Sunday.
“Unlike bunnies sold at pet stores, rabbits adopted from the MSPCA will have received a thorough health check and be spayed or neutered to ensure they do not contribute to the ongoing pet overpopulation crisis,” MSPCA spokesman Rob Halpin said in a statement. “Rabbits are easy to care for and make perfect first-time pets for families. And they have personalities as distinct as those of cats and dogs.” RELATED: Bunny infestation overruns Boston
