A 41-year-old New Hampshire man who was armed with a gun and nunchuks and donning body armor near a hospital helipad over the weekend was arraigned Tuesday, prosecutors said.

Brad Clarke, of Pelham, New Hampshire, now faces charges of unlawful possession of a firearm as a second offense, unlawful possession of ammunition, unlawfully carrying a loaded firearm, carrying a firearm on school grounds, use of body armor during the commission of a felony, carrying a dangerous weapon — in this case nunchuks — and possession of a Class D substance with intent to distribute.

The Boston Globe reported Clarke told police he was “just enjoying my civil liberties” before he was arrested near Boston Medical Center’s helipad on Saturday. He physically struggled with police before his arrest, according to the Globe.

Clarke is being held on $500,000 bail. Judge Michael Coyne ordered him to undergo an evaluation at Bridgewater State Hospital. He is due back in court on May 15.
