Three Bronx Science students arrested for hazing

Three Bronx High School of Science track team members have been arrested on charges of hazing and physically and sexually abusing a freshman team member.

Two of the students allegedly inserted their finger into the victim’s anus over his clothes. The students also threatened to rape the freshman student and touched his penis over his clothes several times, the New York Times reported. The abuse occurred from December to close to the end of February.

Thomas Brady, 16, Boubacar Diallo, 16, and Pier Berkmans, 17 were arrested last Wednesday and have been charged with forcible touching, hazing, harassment and assault.

The school announced that all track team events are suspended as long as the investigation continues.
