Transit Police: Mattapan man threatened to stab MBTA trolley driver
A Mattapan man was arrested for allegedly threatening a female trolley driver Saturday night because she would not let him board through the rear door.
Transit Police said James Robinson, 53, began pounding on a Green Line trolley’s windows when the driver told him he must enter through the front door to pay his fare.
Robinson allegedly told the driver he was armed with a knife, and threatened to stab the female driver if she did not open the rear doors.
He was charged with assault by means of a dangerous weapon.
