Bill Clinton is a fan of ABC’s ‘Scandal,’ obviously

ABC’s drama ‘Scandal’ is highly addictive. As in, watch four episodes back-to-back until 3 a.m. addictive.

Calling the show simply a hit is an understatement. The show garners 200,000 tweets per episode every Thursday night between 10 p.m. and 11 p.m.

For those of you living under a rock, the show, starring Kerry Washington and Tony Goldwyn, is a political thriller which takes place in Washington, D.C. Washington’s character, Olivia Pope, runs a crisis management firm. She used to also work in the White House for the president.

Oh, and she’s also sleeping with the president.

Washington and Goldwyn are on the new cover of Entertainment Weekly.

“Some of these fans include Oprah Winfrey, Lena Dunham, and Mary J. Blige. “Bill Clinton was another person where I was like, ‘What?! You watch Scandal?!” Washington says in the Entertainment Weekly story. “I feel like it happens at least once a week- that I am totally floored by somebody who watches the show.”

It makes perfect sense that Bill Clinton is a fan of a show in which the president has sex with his mistress in the oval office.

Seriously, though, if you’re not watching ‘Scandal’ you’re missing out on some pretty juicy television.
