Police seek Washington Square bank robber
Philadelphia police and the FBI are asking for the public’s help identifying a man they say robbed a TD Bank at Washington Square on Saturday.
The robbery occurred at the TD Bank branch office at 111 S. 11th St. at around 8:55 a.m. The suspect demanded money from a teller and fled north on 11th Street with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Police describe the suspect as a white male, about 40 years old, roughly 6 feet tall and thin. He has salt-and-pepper hair and had a goatee at the time of the robbery, during which he was wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.
