Police have charged a 15-year-old with shooting another teen during a melee in East Germantown Sunday afternoon.

The victim, 15, was listed in critical condition at Einstein Medical Center after he was shot in the chest on the 400 block of East Washington Lane about 3:15 p.m.

Police said the gunfire occurred after two groups began fighting.

The 15-year-old alleged gunman was taken into custody and charged by about 6:25 p.m. He is charged with attempted murder, aggravated assault and weapons offenses, police said.

Police on Monday also released suspect descriptions in connection with shootings that left victims critically injured over the weekend.

A 27-year-old victim was in stable condition after being shot in the stomach early Saturday on the 7400 block of Buist Avenue in Eastwick. Police are looking for a black male in his early 20s with long dreadlocks, 5-foot-8 to 6 feet tall and weighing 150 to 170 pounds in connection with the shooting.

A 35-year-old victim is also in stable condition after he was shot in the back in Tioga on Saturday night. Police are seeking a black male, 5-foot-6 or 5-foot-7 and about 120 to 130 pounds in connection with the shooting at 19th and Tioga.
