Gender-bending performance art will bring some feisty New York City fashion to the Revere Hotel this weekend.

“One Night in Bartschland: A Party & Pop-up Concert” with nightlife figure Susanne Bartsch, will happen at 9 p.m. Saturday at the Revere Hotel’s Space 57.

The event will raise money for the Institute of Contemporary Art as well as One Fund Boston, and celebrate the hotel’s one-year anniversary.

Revere Hotel Spokesman Bryan Barbieri describes the pop-up party as “an over-the-top spectacle featuring wild fashions worn by colorful characters and a cast of New York nightlife socialites and performance artists.”

Bartsch has staged over-the-top and avant-garde extravaganzas in cities from New York to Toyko for the past four decades, and currently holds court at Marquee NYC, along with the Soho Grand Hotel and the Standard Hotel.

Tickets are available at bartschland.eventbrite.com.
