MBTA employees just can’t seem to catch a break, lately.

They’re being choked, spit on and punched. And now their phones are being stolen.

Transit Police investigators are asking for the public’s help identifying a man who stole an employee’s cell phone.

Police said the man walked up to the North Station Commuter Rail information booth window at about 12:20 p.m. last Thursday. When he got there he reached in the window and took the employee’s T-Mobile Galaxy Note 2 phone.

The man was caught on surveillance video, which police released Wednesday.

Anyone with information can call 617-222-1050.
