Catsimatidis didn’t vote in 2 of last 3 mayoral elections
Billlionaire John Catsimatidis may be running for mayor, but he has failed to cast a vote in two out of the last three mayoral elections, the Daily News reports.
Voting records show that the grocery store mogul skipped voting in the last election, in 2009, and in 2001, the first time Mayor Michael Bloomberg ran.
A spokesman said Catsimatidis had intended to vote in 2009, but that long lines and business obligations had prevented him, and that in 2001 he was out of town due the death of a longtime employee.
