Man, 27, killed in apparent car crash, no car in sight
Police responded to a 911 call at 3:30 a.m. Sunday morning from a caller reporting a person hit by a car near 97 East 233 Street in the Bronx, cops said.
Police said officers arrived to find a 27-year-old male laying on the ground with no cars in sight.
EMS workers reportedly pronounced the victim, later identified as Kevin Bell with a listed address just a few blocks away, dead at the scene.
No arrests have been made, but the investigation is ongoing, cops said.
