Three shootings, three dead in violent night in Philly
Three people were killed and a fourth critically injured in three separate shootings in Philadelphia Tuesday night and Wednesday morning.
The first fatal shooting occurred in West Oak Lane about 10 p.m., 6ABC Action News reports.
A man was shot as he opened the door to his apartment on the 7200 block of Ogontz Avenue. He was pronounced dead at an area hospital a short time later.
Two men were shot near an Olney elementary school around 11 p.m.
A 21-year-old man was killed by the gunfire on the 5800 block of North 5th Street, while an 18-year-old man is fighting for his life in an area hospital in critical condition after being shot four times, according to the report.
A third homicide happened about 2 a.m. in Strawberry Mansion, where a 33-year-old man was gunned down on Marston Street.
