Four injured in Wilmington shootings
Four people were injured in three separate shootings in Wilmington, Del., on Sunday.
Police began investigating the latest shooting Sunday night shortly after one victim collapsed in front of a McDonald’s on the 300 block of North Monroe Street, 6ABC Action News reports. Police believe the victim was shot at another location and fled as far as he could before he collapsed.
As police were gathering evidence about that victim, they learned a second man had shown up at Wilmington Hospital for treatment of injuries sustained in the same shooting.
Two teenagers were in stable condition after they were shot earlier Sunday in separate gunfire, according to the report.
An 18-year-old boy was shot in both legs about 2:40 p.m. on North Van Buren Street. A 16-year-old boy was shot in his pelvis along the 400 block of North Madison Street about 4 p.m.
