Actor Ashton Kutcher had to cancel his appearance at the University of Pennsylvania tomorrow.

According to a post on philly.com, an email was sent out last night that read:

“It is with great disappointment that we share the news that, due to unforeseen circumstances, Mr. Kutcher will not be able to join us as scheduled this Wednesday (9/18). He has expressed his sincere apologies for having to cancel and we are working with him to find a date to reschedule his visit to Penn in the next few weeks.”

Kutcher was set to speak at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania for Bobby Turner’s speaker series. Turner has told Metro the heartthrob and tech investor would talk about his support of all things techy, how his sick brother had affected his life and Thorn, his charity.

Nearly 3,000 student, staff and alumni bought tickets to the event. There is no word yet on when Kutcher will be rescheduled.
