‘Uncooperative’ Boston man arrested for indecent assault on the MBTA
A Boston man was arrested Sunday night at Dudley MBTA Station in Roxbury after transit police on patrol recognized him to as the suspect in an indecent assault and battery earlier this month.
Police said Kenneth Nelson, 28, became combative during their attempt to arrest him for an assault on a female passenger at the Dudley Square bus terminal about 12:50 a.m. on Sept. 11.
“Nelson was uncooperative and resisted the officers’ efforts to place him into custody. After a brief struggle the officers were able to gain control and Nelson was placed under arrest,” transit police said in a statement.
