Stephanie Smith, Page Six reporter and now infamous food blogger, outraged social media users today after her blog, 300 Sandwiches, went viral. Smith started the blog when her boyfriend told her he would propose to her after she made him 300 sandwiches. As of today, she’s on sandwich #176 and still going with tasty options like Fried Zucchini and Sliced Tomato on a Pretzel Roll and Blondie Ice Cream Sandwiches.

People took to Facebook and Twitter to vent their outrage that a successful woman would slave in the kitchen to make her man sandwiches. In particular, social media users can’t get over one quote from Smith’s boyfriend:

“You’ve been up for 15 minutes and you haven’t made me a sandwich?”

But pretty quickly, the anger subsided and turned into humor as Twitter users hit back with their own sandwiches with the hashtag #300feministsandwiches — choice sandwich names include the “Susan BLT Anthony” and “Equal Pay-strami.” Scroll through some of our favorite feminist sandwich options below.
