Ninth arrest in West Side Highway biker gang assault
A ninth biker has been arrested in the biker gang assault that took place just off the West Side Highway about a month ago, police confirmed.
Brooklyn resident Jason Brown, 40, was arrested and charged with gang assault and criminal mischief, the same charges leveled against the bikers accused of causing damage to Alexian Lien’s SUV and assaulting Lien after he was pulling from the vehicle.
Lien’s wife and two-year-old daughter were inside the car while he was attacked.
Brown is awaiting arraignment in Manhattan criminal court. He will be the eighth biker to be arraigned in connection with this incident, as charges were dropped against one of the early arrests.
