Two sought in Riverfront shooting, robbery
Philadelphia Police are seeking two suspects in a Riverfront robbery/shooting overnight on Oct. 21.
A 33-year-old man said he was approached by two armed men demanding his car keys as he returned to his vehicle on the 100 block of Walnut Street around 1:45 a.m. When the complainant fled from his vehicle, one of the suspects shot him once in the back. Both suspects then fled on the 200 block of Walnut Street.
Police describe the first suspect as black, about 5-foot, 9-inches, 150 to 160 lbs, wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt and dark pants. The second suspect is described as black, about 5-foot, 9-inches, 150 to 160 lbs, with a light hooded sweatshirt and dark pants. Both men were armed with handguns.
