Two teens have been arrested for a string of robberies in Brooklyn after they took a photo of themselves on a stolen iPhone, police said.

Tyquan Solomon, 19, and Terrance Sistrunk, 16, have each been charged with five counts of robbery.

Cops say the thieves posed for a picture after they robbed a 22-year-old man at the corner of Auburn Place and North Portland Avenue about 1 a.m. on Feb. 2.

Solomon and Sistrunk allegedly displayed a black handgun and demanded property, getting away with $205 cash and an iPhone. Later that afternoon, the victim checked his iCloud account and found pictures that the suspects had taken of themselves. He notified police, and detectives identified and arrested Solomon on Feb. 5 and Sistrunk on Feb. 12.

The pair has been charged in connection to a series of robberies in and around Fort Greene in January and February, police said.

Earlier this month, police released selfies taken by two Harlem muggers wanted for a string of robberies last year. The photos were uploaded from a stolen phone to the victim’s photo-sharing account.

If anyone thinks they may have been a victim of a similar crime in this area, they are asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS. The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website or text their tips to 274637(CRIMES) then enter TIP577.
