Another arrested in Mattapan massacre
DORCHESTER – A 31-year-old Dorchester man was arrested yesterday and became the third person charged in connection with the quintuple shooting in Mattapan earlier this year that left four people dead.
Authorities announced yesterday that Edward Washington will be charged with four counts of murder and will be arraigned today in Dorchester District Court.
Washington is the cousin of 35-year-old Kimani Washington, who was arrested in October for allegedly holding the guns used in the shooting.
Last month, police arrested 33-year-old Dwayne Moore and also charged him with the killings.
Police said the slayings followed a home invasion during which drugs, money and a television were taken.
