Boston bar to host ‘Mad Men’ theme party for premiere

Scollay Square in Boston is hosting a 'Mad Men' party this Sunday for the shows season five premiere. Grab those suspenders and skinny ties, and wind down with a vodka tonic.

Skinny ties, slim-fitting dress pants and tumblers full of whiskey during work hours—what’s not to love about “Mad Men?”

As season five gears up for its two-hour premiere this Sunday, fans are reeling with excitement over the return of the show, and one Boston bar is taking you back in time to the 1960′s.

On March 25, Scollay Square in Boston is hosting a “Mad Men” premiere party where
all staff will be dressed in Mad Men-esque uniforms, according to the event’s website.

“Guests are encouraged to join in on the salute to the decade when the old Scollay Square was still a vibrant city square in downtown Boston,” according to the site.

For $30, attendees get two specialty cocktails and unlimited hors d’oeuvres.

For a little extra, patrons can also wine and dine on some “Mad Men” inspired menu items at a la carte prices.

While customers chow down, the show will be airing on three large screens around the restaurant.

So slick back your hair, tuck in your pocket square and shine your shoes for the cocktail party to kickoff the new season, because the top three costume-wearers will win gift certificates from $25 to $100, respectively.

Here is the Season 5 promo from AMC to get you in the mood for some 1960′s debauchery.
