T police hunt for alleged Green Line masturbator
Transit Police hope to nab a man who is accused of pleasuring himself on the Green Line earlier this month.
T officials released a photograph yesterday of a man who allegedly masturbated in front of a 25-year-old woman as she stood on the inbound platform at Beaconsfield Station in Brookline. The incident allegedly happened on Dec. 3, around 7:10 p.m., according to Transit Police.
The photograph shows a man who police describe as “white or Hispanic, in his early to mid 20s.” The suspect is seen wearing a red T-shirt with an American flag printed on it.
If found, he would be charged with open and gross lewdness and lascivious behavior.
It is not the first time in recent months a man has been accused of such behavior on the Green Line – in April, a 37-year-old Somerville man was arrested for going at himself on a trolley.
In September, Transit Police released a photograph of a man suspected of similar behavior on the Red Line. That incident allegedly happened on July 20 as the train traveled between Park Street and Massachusetts General Hospital. The photograph led to the arrest of a 55-year-old Braintree man.
