Cop chases down Harlem shooting suspect

Police found this gun on a teenager believed to have participated in a Harlem shooting.

Upon hearing gunshots in Harlem early Saturday, a police officer chased after four suspects and apprehended one of them following a struggle.

A search of the 15-year-old suspect turned up a loaded Bryco Arms .380-caliber handgun, according to the NYPD.

Meanwhile, police discovered a 22-year-old who had been shot twice in the leg near Amsterdam Avenue and 131st Street.

The victim, who was taken to a nearby hospital in stable condition, identified the teenager as one of the shooters.
