A 20-year-old Australian tourist was dragged into a Midtown alley and raped early Sunday morning, police said.

The victim had been partying at the posh nightclub Lavo located on East 58th Street between Park and Madison Avenues, and left the club around 3:35 a.m., the New York Post reports.

She then got into a cab, but she quickly got out after she got into an argument with the cab driver. After she was back on the street, she was grabbed from behind, dragged into an alley and assaulted.

Police released a sketch of the suspect on Monday night. He is described as being in his mid to late 30s, 6-foot-2 and 190 lbs. He was last seen wearing dark clothing.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS.
