On the MBTA: Man tries to solicit sex from Transit Police officer
A Beverly man was arrested last night for allegedly “looking for love in all the wrong places” by propositioning an undercover MBTA Transit Police officer for sex at a T station.
According to Transit Police, 33-year-old Handell Liburd took a seat on a bench next to a woman at Chinatown T Station around 6 p.m. last night. He began chatting her up, and the topic of making money came up. He “bluntly” asked the woman whether she was interested in earning $40 by performing a “sexual act” on him, according to Transit Police.
Transit Police officers descended on Liburd, and arrested him for solicitation of sexual conduct for a fee. He’s expected in court sometime today.
