PHOTOS: ABC’s ‘The Chew’ films at Federal Donuts

A crew from ABC Television’s daytime cooking show “The Chew” was this afternoon shooting at Federal Donuts’ Center City location. A flyer posted on the door on the 1600 block of Sansom Street notified patrons that if they entered the popular eatery, they might appear on camera.

Federal Donuts chef Michael Solomonov, who also heads up Old City’s Zahav and recently opened Main Line kosher eatery Citron and Rose, was explaining the particulars of his famous fried chicken and donuts to “The Chew” correspondent Chef Jason Roberts. A crowd of lunchtime onlookers quickly gathered to watch the show.

The taping ran from 11:30 to 12:45 p.m. The episode’s air date has not yet been determined.
