D train slices off man’s legs

An incoming D train cut off a man’s legs Saturday night after he had stumbled onto the tracks at a Bronx subway station.

The man, whom police declined to identify, fell off the southbound platform at the 161st Street-Yankee Stadium stop around 9:45 p.m. The train then completely severed both of his legs, according to the NYPD.

The victim was taken to Lincoln Hospital, where he remains in critical condition.
