Disorderly man allegedly ‘makes a scene’ at Park Street station, spits at MBTA police
A Boston man was arrested Monday after he allegedly “made a scene” at the Park Street MBTA station.
Richard Lawson, 32, was loitering at the station around 4:20 p.m. when officers approached him, according to Transit Police.
“Before officers could engage him in conversation, Lawson began to inexplicably shout obscenities at the officers and spit in their direction,” police said on their blog.
Lawson’s disorderly behavior continued as police ran a search on him. Lawson was found to have an outstanding warrant for larceny.
