The weather’s getting warmer, and some investigators fear flash mobs may be again congregating in Philadelphia.

Police arrested 14 people Tuesday after a brawl broke out on Center City streets in what officials are calling a “mob incident.”

The large fight occurred shortly before 4 p.m. at 15th and Chestnut streets. Police arrived to find about 200 people congregated in the area.

Eleven boys and three girls were arrested, according to investigators. All but four of the suspects are under 18 years old.

Ten juveniles have been charged with conspiracy, obstructing highways, failure to disperse and disorderly conduct, officials with the District Attorney’s Office said.

They are due in court Wednesday for a detention hearing at the Youth Studies Center.

The District Attorney’s Office has also charged four 18-year-olds – Mitchell Symeir, Tymere Wilder, Rashaun Green and Kenyatta Long – with conspiracy, obstructing highways, failure to disperse and disorderly conduct.

All four defendants were processed Wednesday morning and are now awaiting arraignment.

The boys involved in the brawl were reportedly students at Overbrook, Roman Catholic, Bishop McDevitt and Camelot and the girls attended Hallahan, Randolf Technical and the Academy at Palumbo.
