UPDATE: Police are now looking for an additional person in connection to this investigation.

The new person of interest was caught on surveillance camera speaking with the suspect at a bus stop in Brooklyn.

The video, at left, was recorded just before the third incident.

The NYPD Special Victims Squad has asked that anyone with information regarding the suspect or the new person of interest call 1-800-577-TIPS (8477). All calls are confidential.

Metro’s original story is below.

Police are looking for a man in connection to three rapes in Brooklyn: two in Lefferts Gardens and one in Canarsie.

Each time, the suspect starts up a conversation with the victim, and then lures them to an isolated place and rapes them.

The first rape occurred on April 4 at 9 p.m. near Albany Avenue and Fenimore Street in Lefferts Gardens. The suspect lured the 25-year-old victim to a nearby parking lot where he raped her, cops said.

The second and third rapes both occurred on April 11. The second was at 8 a.m. in Canarsie, near Remsen Avenue and Farragut Road. Cops reported that the suspect lured the 19-year-old victim to the driveway of a private home and raped her.

Police said the third time was that night at 8:15 p.m. in a building near Midwood Street and Schenectady Avenue in Lefferts Garden, near the parking lot he used the first time. A 15-year-old girl was approached in the building, lured to the sixth floor and raped there.

NYPD officials described the suspect as a 5-foot-9 black male in his 20s. They estimated he weighs between 160 and 180 pounds. He was reportedly wearing a green camouflage jacket, pants, boots and a baseball cap that may have a Yankees or Knicks logo on it.

Cops requested that anyone with information on this suspect or regarding these rapes call the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477). All calls are confidential. Tips can also be submitted online or via text by texting TIP577 to 274637 (CRIMES).
