No injuries in Northeast Philadelphia home invasion
No one was injured in a home invasion-style burglary in Northeast Philadelphia early Wednesday.
Three gunmen broke into the home on the 7200 block of Kindred Street about 3 a.m., according to police. The men were armed with silver pistols and a black rifle.
The family was home at the time, but no one was injured. One of the burglars awakened a 28-year-old woman and ordered her into the home’s basement, where she was met by two other suspects.
A woman’s watch and a cell phone were reported stolen.
The suspects spoke Spanish, police said. They are described as black males, 24 or 25 years old. One of the suspects was wearing a white mask over his face.
