UPDATE, 8:54 a.m.: A pregnant woman and two others were injured in gunfire in North Philadelphia Wednesday afternoon.

All three victims are recovering, according to police, and the pregnant woman’s baby is doing fine.

The pregnant woman, 32, reportedly was shot several times, including in her chest and back, when shots rang out on the 1000 block of West Dakota Street just before 4 p.m. Wednesday.

Police believe the gunman exited a silver or gray vehicle, fired the shots, and fled the area.

A 29-year-old man was shot several times. He and the 32-year-old woman were transported to Temple University Hospital, and were listed in stable condition at the hospital Thursday morning around 8:45 a.m.

A 24-year-old woman sustained a graze wound in Wednesday’s gunfire.

No arrests have been made.

Gunfire wounded a pregnant woman and two other people in North Philadelphia Wednesday afternoon.

Shots rang out on the 100 block of West Dakota Street just before 4 p.m., 6ABC Action News reports.

A pregnant 32-year-old woman was shot, along with another woman, 24, and a man, 29.

The pregnant woman was struck by several bullets, including in her chest and back, according to the report, and was in critical condition at Temple University Hospital.

The 24-year-old woman sustained only a graze wound. The 29-year-old man was shot several times, and was in serious condition at Temple University Hospital.

The 32-year-old woman is five months into her pregnancy, according to the report.

Police believe the gunman exited a vehicle, fired the shots, and fled the area.
