Divers search water near Aaron’s Hernandez’s home
Divers from the Massachusetts State Police today searched a pond and heavily wooded near New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez’s home in North Attleboro, but reportedly found “no evidence.”
Investigators first arrived around 10 a.m. and used metal detectors in the wooded area around his property.
After about 20 minutes of searching an area about 100 yards long and within 30 feet of the road, they emerged empty-handed, and told media they found “no evidence.”
When asked about the pond, an investigator said, “That’s already been cleared.”
Yasmina Serdarcvic, a spokeswoman for the Bristol County District Attorney, said the office would have no comment on Monday’s search.
