Flash flood warning issued for parts of New York City
The National Weather Service issued a flash flood warning for parts of New York City until 3 p.m. Monday.
The floods are expected from a developing thunderstorm hovering over all boroughs except Staten Island.
The weather service said Midtown Manhattan and western Queens are expected to be hit the hardest.
Rainfall of between 1 and 2 inches is expected every hour.
