A woman was fatally struck while crossing a Bronx service road in a hit-and-run early Sunday morning.

Maria Dulce-Valencia, 27, was crossing Evergreen Avenue at the intersection of Bruckner Boulevard in Soundview around 5:07 a.m. when she was struck by a black sedan.

Police found an unconscious Dulce-Valencia in the middle of the roadway.

Emergency personnel declared her dead at the scene.

Police said the sedan was traveling westbound on Bruckner when it hit Dulce-Valencia.

The driver of the sedan fled the scene, police said.

No arrests have been made and police said the investigation is ongoing.

Another young woman died in a hit-and-run on the same road two miles away last month.

On Aug. 21 around 3 a.m., police said 24-year-old Abigail Lino was crossing from Bruckner Boulevard to Austin Place in Longwood when she was hit by an SUV.

Leroy Forest, 31, was later arrested and charged with leaving the scene of an accident resulting in death.
