Man shot during Eastwick robbery
Police are investigating the shooting early Saturday morning of a man during a robbery in the Eastwick section of West Philadelphia.
Officers shortly before 3:40 a.m. responded to the 7100 block of Lindbergh Boulevard for a report of a shooting.
There, they found a 27-year-old man, who told police two unknown black males approached him from behind and pressed a gun into his back.
He said the assailants rifled through his pockets, taking his iPhone, wallet and $70 in cash.
One of the men then allegedly shot the victim once in the right thigh.
He was rushed to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, where he was placed in stable condition.
One suspect is described as a 6-foot-2-inch tall black male.
He was last seen wearing a black hoodie with a graphic on the front and carrying a silver revolver.
Police said a description of the second suspect was unavailable Sunday.
No arrests have yet been made.
