VIDEO: Police seek Cedarbrook Dunkin’ Donuts robbers

Philadelphia police are seeking the public’s help identifying two men who robbed the Dunkin’ Donuts store at 1630 Wadsworth Ave., in the city’s Cedarbrook section, last week.

The robbery happened a little after 2 p.m. on Nov. 23, police said.

One of the suspects pulled a handgun and stole roughly $2,000 from the store’s drive-thru cash register while pointing the weapon at an employee. The second suspect acted as a lookout, according to police.

The men fled in a red minivan operated by a third man. It was last seen traveling on Cheltenham Avenue.

The two suspects who held up the store are described as black males. Each is about 20 years old, with the lookout about 5 feet 8 inches tall and the handgun-wielding suspect about 5 feet 10 inches, police said.

The taller suspect is further described as dark-skinned, stocky and having a goatee. He was wearing a dark vest, a light-gray hoodie, dark pants and a dark knit hat.

The lookout is further described as dark-skinned and of a medium build.  He was wearing a dark, hooded jacket and camouflage pants.

Police urge anyone with information about the robbery to call Northwest Detectives Division at 215-686-3353/3354.
