A Brooklyn teen helped a man dig his car out of the snow during the winter storm Friday before carjacking him at gunpoint, police said.

Genero Placenia, 18, offered to help a 19-year-old free his green Honda from the snow on 75th Street in Queens, pushing the car from behind as the victim accelerated.

Upon freeing the car, police said Placenia asked for a ride. After reaching Pitkin Avenue in East New York, Brooklyn, Placenia showed a firearm and demanded the driver’s property.

The driver handed over an iPhone 5, $60 and keys to the car. Police said Placenia then fled.

Queens and Brooklyn police canvassed the area for the suspect and stolen car, which they found abandoned and stuck in snow in Cypress Hills.

Video footage showed the suspect fleecing the stuck vehicle. Police found the suspect’s 9 mm High Point gun discarded on a nearby street.

With help from a witness, police traced Placenia to an auto body shop where he removed his shoes and other clothing.

Police said Placenia was spotted in a nearby laundromat before he was apprehended nearly naked in a basement on Logan Street.

Placenia was charged with robbery, criminal possession of a weapon and resisting arrest and taken to Jamaica Hospital for treatment.
