Weeks before the big game, New York officials said the city is prepared to tackle security for Super Bowl events.

“I’m very comfortable on everything I’ve been briefed on, that we are, in fact, going to have a safe and secure event, not only here but certainly at the game itself,” Police Commissioner Bill Bratton said Wednesday.

For four days leading up to the Feb. 2 game, the city will host a “Super Bowl Boulevard” with free football-themed activities on Broadway from 34th to 47th Streets.

Bratton said police, along with other city, state and federal agencies involved in the events’ planning, will have several discussions in the next weeks to ensure every group is up to speed.

Mayor Bill de Blasio praised Bratton and his team, along with former top cop Ray Kelly and his team, on prepping the city for the Super Bowl.

De Blasio said the event will be “a real blessing for the city.”

“The only thing up in the air right now is the weather,” Bratton said. “We’re just going to have to wait and see on that.”
